Nuturing You, Nurturing Baby
Because You Deserve to Be Held, Too
Meet Courtney
Hi, I’m Courtney a postpartum doula and Certified Lactation Counselor (CLC) . I am also a mom to a singleton and a set of twins. I’ve breastfed all three of my children for over a year, and through that experience, I found my true calling: helping new mothers feel confident, supported, and empowered in their postpartum journey.
I was the first of my friends to have a baby. I had twins when my firstborn was only twenty months old. My husband is a firefighter who works overnight shifts. I was alone at night with three babies under two, managing every feeding, every waking, every hard moment by myself. Happy and lonely at the exact same time, in a way I did not have the words for.
I fell in love with breastfeeding. With birth. With everything that surrounds the beginning of a mother's life. I became a Certified Lactation Counselor and enrolled in the IBCLC program at Henry Ford Community College. I went back to school while raising three babies under two because I could not stop thinking about all the mothers sitting alone at 2am wondering if anyone else felt this way.
They do. I know because I was one of them.
Postpartum Harmony is the place I needed and could not find. A warm room with other mothers and mismatched mugs and someone to hand your baby to so you can sleep for the first time in weeks. Free peer support groups. A sauna. A lactation counselor who is there every single day.
It is not a spa. It is not a gym. It is the village that modern life forgot to rebuild.
We saved a seat for you. Your mug is already warm.
Bringing a baby into the world is one of the most life-changing, sacred experiences a woman can go through. And yet, so often, mothers are left to figure it out on their own. That’s where I come in.
Visiting Postpartum Harmony is one of the most meaningful ways to support a new mother. Whether she’s learning to feed her baby, healing from birth, adjusting to life with a newborn, or juggling older siblings, Postpartum Harmony is there to support her.
It’s a thoughtful gift for:
Mothers whose partners resume schedules soon after birth
Families with older children who need attention too
New parents who live far from family and friends
Even those who do have support, because motherhood deserves more than just help, it deserves care
I’m here to ease the overwhelm and nurture the mother while she nurtures her baby. Together, we can create a space that feels calm and connected, so her transition into motherhood isn’t just survivable, but truly magical.
